How To Trace Throat Cancer Symptoms Of Lung Disease/Cancer?

Symptoms of Lung Disease/Cancer? - how to trace throat cancer

Dear all

I smoked cigarettes on and off the last 10 years and it is true, many joints of cannabis on the streets.

I quit smoking for good a week ago. My lungs begin to realize that I am coughing mucus with traces of tar, but no blood - not seen me ...

However, my chest is very sensitive, especially after exercise, but no respiratory symptoms.
They suffer from hay fever and when I blow your nose, you can taste the blood / metal on the back of the neck.

I know I need to consult with your doctor to arrange for a x-ray. But it's the weekend, so I will not be able to get an appointment until Monday.

How worried should these symptoms?
(Please be honest, not as I am aAfraid to confront what is done in my own situation)

Thank you for your time.

The symptoms of lung cancer

Have up to one quarter of all people with no symptoms of lung cancer in May, when they are diagnosed with cancer. These cancers tend to be even when a chest radiograph performed for another reason. Most people develop symptoms, however. The symptoms are caused due to the direct effects of the primary tumor, effects of metastases in other parts of the body, or changes in hormones, blood or other systems caused by cancer.

The symptoms of primary lung cancer, cough, coughing blood, chest pain and shortness of breath.

A new cough in a smoker or former smoker should raise concern for lung cancer.

A cough that does not subside or worsens over time should be evaluated by a medical professional.

Coughing up blood (hemoptysis) occurs in a significant number of people with lung cancer. Lots of coughing up blood is a cause for concern.

Chest pain is a symptom of one quarter of people with lung cancer. The pain is dull, and there areT and can affect other structures surrounding the lungs.

Shortness of breath is usually caused by obstruction of airflow in the lungs, fluid accumulation around the lungs (pleural effusion), or the extent of the tumor in the lung.

Wheezing or hoarseness may be a blockage or inflammation in the lungs, which go along with cancer CAN signal.

Frequent respiratory infections such as bronchitis or pneumonia, can be a sign of lung cancer.
Symptoms of metastatic lung tumors depend on the location and size. Approximately 30% -40% of people with lung cancer have some symptoms or signs of metastases.

Lung cancer often spreads to the liver, adrenal glands, bones and brain.

Lung cancer with metastases in the liver usually causes no symptoms, at least for the time of diagnosis.

Lung cancer metastatic to the adrenal gland also causes no symptoms at diagnosis.

The bone metastasis is more common than small cell lung cancer, but alsowith other types of lung cancer. Lung cancer that has metastasis to the bone causes bone pain) is usually in the spine (vertebrae, femur and ribs.

Lung cancer spreads to the brain can cause difficulties with vision, weakness on one side of the body, and / or seizures.
Paraneoplastic syndromes are remote, not the indirect effects of cancer with direct invasion of an organ accompanied by tumor cells. They are often caused by chemicals released by cancer. The symptoms include:

Clubbing of fingers depositing additional tissue under the nails

the formation of new bone tissue on the lower legs or arms

Anemia, low red blood cell count and high calcium and sodium in the blood

other effects, muscle weakness, rash, and degeneration of the brain

Weight Loss

Fatigue

Do not worry too much over the weekend. only to see his doctor on Monday and ask for the detection of X-rays and blood tests for signs of lung disease, good for a week, not enough to smoke. My mother had lung cancer in the last half a year, and she is 80 can do.
